In a wrong end, Yuka reveals that her feelings for her older brother, Satoshi, are romantic in nature, which is... really gross. But I feel like Yuka's feelings for him aren't actually romantic despite what she said. Of course, Yuka's old enough to understand the difference between romantic and familial love, especially considering that she specifically told Satoshi her feelings for him weren't ones of a brother and sister. But here's the thing. Yuka's really immature... like... REALLY immature. Heck, I thought she was around seven-years-old when I first got into Corpse Party, and I (as well as quite a few others) was shocked to learn that someone with her personality and stature was fourteen. She doesn't really have the experience nor the emotional maturity to know that many things about true, romantic love. I feel like because of this, she mistook her extreme clinginess, admiration, and devotion toward Satoshi as romantic love because she simply didn't have the mental development to realize what it really was. At most, I think what she feels for him could be a vaguely romantic, yet intense infatuation (which is still pretty weird and disgusting, but, hey, at least it's not as bad as her being straight up in love with him). Any thoughts?
